Regular Home Cleaning

   

Our business was built upon regular cleaning for our private clients and we now work for over 150 satisfied customers.

Service Description

Our operatives use their own equipment and materials. They are insured, reference checked and work in teams of two to ensure quality and trustworthiness. They have a reliable income and far better working conditions than most cleaners, which is why we can send you the same team on each visit to ensure consistency and reliability. Client's keys are also security coded and kept securely at our offices.

 

We offer a managed service and our Customer Service team is always available to  take your calls and emails, ensuring that your requests are acted upon. You are not  tied in to a contract of any kind and can cancel or re-arrange any visit, whether you  are going on holiday or simply feeling unwell on the day of our scheduled visit. We  have a team of experienced cleaning supervisors who spot-check our work and provide ongoing training.

 

 

Selection

We sought police advice whilst designing our selection procedures, and our domestic cleaners are carefully vetted and security checked to ensure that you can trust them:

 

• Proof of address (a formal document such as a driving licence or utility bill)

• Identification (passport, driving licence, etc)

• Permission to work in the UK

• Next of kin details

• Domestic cleaning interview

• Pass written, oral and practical cleaning exam

 

Check List

This is a check-list of tasks that our clients often want us to complete:

 

Kitchen

• Use only fresh, clean cloths to clean surfaces

• De-scale taps and sink

• Clean microwave, extractor hood (and oven when requested)

• Remove grease and finger prints from cupboard doors and wall tiles

 

Bathroom

• Clean, de-scale and polish suite and W.C.

• Polish all mirrors, chrome and glass

• Clean tooth brush mug and soap dish

• Clean and polish tiles

 

Reception Areas and Bedrooms

• Move and clean furniture and ornaments

• Tidy and vacuum sofas

 

All Rooms

• Remove cobwebs

• Clean from top to bottom and clockwise around each room, so that areas are not missed

• Wipe down paintwork [skirting boards, door frames, doors, windows sills, window frames]

• Clean blinds and vacuum curtains

• Clean light fittings, light switches and sockets

• Vacuum carpets, move furniture regularly and vacuum edges

• Vacuum and mop hard floors, spot cleaning where necessary

• [At end of visit] Doors double locked and activate alarm

Tips

Be sparing with your use of wax polishes - they will create a build-up on your furniture.

 

Dusting furniture and woodwork with a small amount of soapy water will prevent a layer of dust from re-appearing as quickly.
